My Diabetes & Health Story

I was not diabetic earlier and later moved into the prediabetic range.

Along with blood sugar concerns, I was also dealing with BP, thyroid issues, and menopause-related hormonal fluctuations, which made my health journey extremely unpredictable.

In 2019, when I first joined FFD, I lost nearly 22 kg. However, due to menopause and personal negligence, I gradually regained weight.

Hormonal irregularities, emotional sensitivity, and fluctuating cycles made consistency difficult but deep down, I knew the FFD way worked.

Why I Rejoined FFD

The turning point came when my sister-in-law, Vaishali, was diagnosed with diabetes.

Her sugar levels had reached 400, but after joining FFD, her sugars normalized and all her medicines were stopped.

Seeing this transformation so closely convinced me once again that this path works.

She told me clearly, “You should join again.” This time, I didn’t think twice. I rejoined with full belief.

My Reversal & Healing Journey

I joined FFD in 2019 for weight loss. That phase was life-changing. I lost 22 kg, became highly active, and felt physically strong again.

My dress size fell from 4XL to L, it felt great. The structure, food clarity, and movement helped me believe that change was possible.

However, during menopause and due to personal negligence, I slowly regained weight. I knew the method worked, I just had to return to it.

When I rejoined, my HbA1c was 6.7, and within 3 months, it came down to 6.4, without any diabetes medication.

Weight loss this time was slower and sometimes stagnant due to menopause-related hormonal irregularities.

My cycles are still unpredictable sometimes 15 days, sometimes 2 months but I understood that healing during this phase is not linear.

Even when the weighing scale didn’t move much, my inch loss was clearly visible. I moved from 4XL to 2XL, and that itself felt like a huge victory.

Inner Transformation Experience

This time, the Inner Transformation sessions played a very big role. Earlier, I was extremely emotional and reactive. Small things would disturb me deeply.

Through journaling, meditation, and reflective questioning, I learned something very important:
  • Some things are in our control
  • Some things are not and worrying about them changes nothing
  • This awareness helped me calm my mind, regulate emotions, and respond instead of reacting.

Today, I feel mentally lighter and emotionally stronger.

Athletic Identity & Physical Activity

Earlier, during my previous batch, I used to cycle 75 km during challenges, which felt unbelievable at that time.

Currently, I walk 4–5 km regularly once a week, follow FFD exercise videos, and aim for around 200 steps consistently 4 time a week.

Exercise has helped reduce breathlessness and fear, and improved my confidence in my body.

Current Lifestyle & Reflection

Today, I feel more balanced not just physically, but emotionally too. I am not scared anymore. I trust my body, my process, and my consistency.

Age and menopause do bring challenges, but discipline, meditation, and awareness make all the difference. I know that results will come slowly, steadily, and sustainably.
