My Diabetes Story

My diabetes was diagnosed nearly two decades ago.

Since my mother also had diabetes, I knew there was a family history, but fortunately I never experienced major symptoms or complications.

Like many people, I simply depended on medicines and continued with my daily routine without paying much attention to my lifestyle.

Over the years, my HbA1c fluctuated significantly, sometimes reaching as high as 9.7.

I knew I needed to do something different.

How Was FFD Introduced and What Made Me Choose It?

I came across Freedom From Diabetes through an online advertisement. The possibility of managing diabetes naturally and eventually reducing medicines caught my attention.

I decided to enroll in the Discover Reversal Reversal Session.

My goal was simple; I wanted better sugar control and hoped that one day I could reduce or stop some of my medicines under medical guidance.
                                                                                                                                            Mr. Sanjay Ajay Saxena

 Reversal Journey

When I joined the program, one of the biggest changes happened in my understanding of food.

Earlier, I ate without thinking much about its impact on my health. FFD taught me which foods support my recovery and which ones work against it.

Today, I consciously avoid sugar, rice, potatoes, and other foods that negatively affect my blood sugar.

This single shift completely changed my relationship with food. Along with dietary improvements, I also began following the exercise guidance provided by the FFD experts.

These changes helped me reduce my weight from around 96 kg to 88 kg, a loss of nearly 8 kg.

My HbA1c, which had once touched 9.7, gradually improved and reached 7.5 at its best.

Like many people managing diabetes, I have also experienced phases where consistency became difficult.

Whenever I followed the FFD protocols sincerely, my sugar levels improved. When I became less disciplined, they began to rise again.

This journey taught me that diabetes management is built on consistency rather than temporary effort.

Athletic Identity

Exercise has now become a regular part of my lifestyle. I follow the workout plans suggested by the FFD exercise experts and continue staying active according to their guidance.

Earlier, physical activity was not a priority.

Today, I understand that exercise is just as important as food when it comes to controlling diabetes.

Current Lifestyle & Reflection

One of the biggest transformations has been becoming mindful. Today, I don't simply eat because food is available. I make conscious choices.

I understand what my body needs, how portion sizes matter, and why regular exercise is essential.

Although I am still progressing toward my health goals, I now have the knowledge and confidence to continue moving in the right direction.
