My Diabetes Story

There was some family history of diabetes, but in earlier days, people didn’t test regularly. So it wasn’t something we were very aware of.

When I finally got tested, my HbA1c was 13.5 shockingly high. That’s when I realized I needed to take my health seriously.

How was FFD introduced and what made me choose it?

My son connected me to the program through one of his friends.

At that point, my only goal was simple:
  • Bring my sugar levels down
  • Feel active again
I didn’t want to feel tired all the time. I wanted my energy back. That’s what pushed me to join.

Reversal Story

Before joining, I was on diabetes medication prescribed by my local doctor.  I took them regularly, but I wasn’t seeing real improvement.

After joining the program, things started changing step by step. My medicines were gradually reduced and eventually stopped.

My HbA1c came down from 13.5 to 7.1, and later improved further to 6.5.

Even though there are slight fluctuations sometimes, I now understand that staying consistent is the key.

Along with sugar levels, my cholesterol also improved significantly. Earlier, my triglycerides and LDL levels were high, but now they are under control.

Athletic Identity

One of the biggest shifts in my journey has been becoming active.

Today, I proudly consider myself a runner. I participate in 5 km runs and stay physically active.

Earlier, I used to feel tired all the time. Now, I feel energetic and capable.

Current Lifestyle & Reflection

The biggest lesson I’ve learned is this:

If you stay consistent, you will stay healthy. If you go off track, problems return. I’ve experienced both.

There were phases where I lost track, gained some weight, and saw fluctuations. But now, I am more aware and alert.

I’ve restarted my routine walking, running, and following the right diet. Even small efforts are showing results again.

Fasting was another important part of my journey.

I completed the 9-day FFF challenge twice. Initially, I was unsure, but once I followed it properly and lost 2 kg in the process.

I felt lighter, more energetic, and more in control. Now, I feel calmer, more balanced, and more responsible for my own health.

Key Quote
