My Diabetes Story

Technically, I wasn’t diabetic but I was right on the edge. My HbA1c had touched 5.6–5.7, and both my father and grandmother were diagnosed with diabetes in their 40s.

Having grown up overweight and struggled through years of obesity, I knew I didn’t want to follow the same path.
