My Diabetes Story

I was diagnosed with diabetes about eight years ago after experiencing constant fatigue.

Along with diabetes, I was also dealing with thyroid issues and blood pressure.

Physically, I felt drained most of the time, with episodes of sweating, anxiety, and exhaustion.

There is a family history of diabetes on my maternal side. Over time, lifestyle habits like binge eating, lack of regular exercise, and low awareness contributed to steady weight gain and declining health.

How Was FFD Introduced and What Made Me Choose It?

In April, quite coincidentally, I came across Freedom From Diabetes through a feed on my phone.

Around the same time, I had watched a podcast discussing the possibility of diabetes reversal. That sparked curiosity.

I attended the introductory session by Dr. Pramod Tripathi.

The explanation of diabetes at a cellular level and the emphasis on lifestyle and mindset deeply resonated with me.

Until then, I believed once medication starts, it never stops. That session changed everything.

Reversal Story

When I joined FFD, I was on a single 500 mg diabetes tablet daily.

Within one month of following the program, my doctor advised me to stop the medication completely.

That moment felt almost miraculous.

My HbA1c reduced from 6.7 to 6.2, and I have remained medicine-free since May.

My weight reduced significantly from a high of 94.7 kg to nearly 80 kg.

During Fast for Freedom, I lost close to 4 kg, but more importantly, gained immense clarity and confidence.

Athletic Identity

I discovered my athletic inclination toward yoga.
