My Diabetes Story

My diabetes diagnosis didn’t come through typical signs like tiredness or excessive thirst. In fact, I had no symptoms at all. In 2023, I was hit by a car and suffered a leg fracture.

During the treatment, routine blood tests revealed high sugar levels  and that’s when I was told I had diabetes.

It came as a surprise because I didn’t feel unwell, nor did I have any family history. My parents lived healthy lives well into their 60s without diabetes.
