My Diabetes Story

My diabetes was detected about a year before joining Freedom From Diabetes.

The sugar levels were constantly oscillating. Sometimes they would come down, and then they would rise again.

Despite taking medication, I never felt that my diabetes was truly under control.

I was taking a daily dose of 500 mg medication, yet my HbA1c consistently remained between 6.5 and 7.5.

One of the signs I noticed was the appearance of dark boils around my neck, which I later understood could be associated with high sugar levels and insulin resistance.

Apart from that, I often felt tired and sluggish. I would delay tasks throughout the day, not because I lacked capability, but because I lacked energy.

That was becoming my new normal.

How Was FFD Introduced and What Made Me Choose It?

My wife came across Freedom From Diabetes while browsing online.

She encouraged me to explore the program and suggested that I give it a try.

My Reversal Story

I adopted the smoothie protocol, reduced my food quantity appropriately, and followed the recommended exercise routines.

The results came much faster than I expected.

Within just 20 days, I was advised to stop my diabetes medication. A medicine that I had been taking daily was no longer required.

Three months later, my HbA1c test showed something I had never achieved before.

My HbA1c had dropped to 5.5.

For me, that was a huge milestone. The transformation did not stop there. I also lost 10 kg, losing weight from 78 kg to 68 kg. 

My cholesterol profile improved significantly. My thyroid markers also moved in the right direction, reducing from nearly 8 to 4.83.

The biggest change, however, was how I felt every day. The fatigue disappeared. The laziness disappeared.

The tendency to postpone tasks disappeared. I became more energetic, focused, and productive throughout the day.

Athletic Identity

Fitness has always been a part of my life.

In my younger years, I was both an athlete and a bodybuilder. FFD helped me reconnect with that identity.

My current routine includes:

I exercise five days a week, dedicate one day to flexibility work, and take one recovery day.
