  • Name - Mr. Narendra Gundeti
  • Age - 36 Years Young
  • Profession - Software Professional
  • Place - Koratla, Telangana

I am Narendra Gundeti, 36 years old, a software professional from Koratla. Diabetes entered my life suddenly and silently, but early detection and timely lifestyle changes helped me regain control before complications could set in.

Key Takeaways

  • HbA1c reduced dramatically from 15.8 to 6.3 in 10 months
  • Diabetes Meds Stopped in 2 months
  • Liver enzymes (SGPT–SGOT) normalized
  • Cholesterol normalized
  • Shifted focus from unhealthy weight loss to strength and weight gain
  • Built sustainable habits around food, breathing, and exercise

My Diabetes Story

My diabetes was detected unexpectedly. I started losing weight rapidly, which initially seemed normal because I had begun exercising.

However, my parents insisted on blood tests, and the results were shocking, my HbA1c was 15.8.

Despite such high numbers, I had very few symptoms. Apart from frequent urination at night, I felt largely normal.

This made the diagnosis even more alarming.

Both my parents have diabetes, so I knew I could not afford to ignore this.

How Was FFD Introduced and What Made Me Choose It?

After diagnosis, I immediately started controlling my diet. I was advised to stop all battery and packaged foods.

With these initial changes alone, my HbA1c dropped significantly over the next few months from 15.8 to around 9.5.

That’s when I decided to join Freedom From Diabetes to understand how to manage this condition correctly and sustainably. I didn’t want short-term control, I wanted long-term freedom.

My Reversal Story

Within three months of following FFD protocols, I noticed drastic improvements.

By six months, my HbA1c came down further to 6.3. All my other parameters also stabilized.

Liver enzymes that were previously elevated returned to normal, and my cholesterol levels are now well controlled.

Because my weight had dropped too low, my dietitian advised against fasting programs and instead guided me toward healthy weight gain and strength building.

Weight, Exercise & Physical Changes

When I joined FFD, my weight was around 58 kg. Today, I am at 61 kg, focusing on building strength and balance rather than just numbers.

During warmer months, I regularly cycle 20–25 km, even commuting to work by cycle when possible.

Due to weather and shoulder discomfort, I adjust my activity, but consistency remains my priority.

Inner Transformation & Mental Wellbeing

I did attend Inner Transformation sessions.

While regular meditation is challenging due to work and family responsibilities, box breathing and breathing exercises have helped me immensely.

These simple techniques improved my focus, reduced stress, and supported overall glucose control.

Athletic Identity

My athletic identity is cycling. Whenever conditions permit, I cycle long distances and use movement as a way to stay disciplined and mentally balanced.

Current Lifestyle & Reflection

FFD helped me understand that diabetes is not just about numbers, it’s about awareness, timing, and discipline.

Acting early made all the difference in my journey.
