My Prediabetes Story

My journey started when I began experiencing frequent leg pain, ankle pain, and discomfort in my thighs.

Even sitting for a few minutes would sometimes trigger pain.

Since I already knew I was on the heavier side, I decided to get my blood work done.

That is when I discovered that I was in the prediabetic range.

Along with that, I also had mild cholesterol concerns.

The doctor suggested that medication could help, but he also clearly said that lifestyle correction could prevent the need for medicines altogether.

That stayed in my mind.

How was FFD introduced and what made me choose it?

Athletic Identity

Earlier, even jogging for a few steps felt difficult. I would quickly experience breathlessness and ankle pain.

Today, I can comfortably do slow jogging for nearly 1 km nonstop, climb 14 floors continuously, and walk without knee or ankle discomfort

Though I had done difficult treks earlier in life too, I now feel much more comfortable and physically free while doing these activities.

Current Lifestyle & Reflection:

One of the biggest transformations for me has been mental discipline.

Before joining FFD, I was unsure whether I would sustain such a structured lifestyle for an entire year.

But today, even after completing the program, I genuinely do not feel like going back to my old lifestyle.

My relationship with food has changed completely.

I realized that constant eating is not necessary, two meals can be enough for many people, and the body can function very well even with less food when the mind is disciplined.
