I am a retired government servant from Pune.
I was diagnosed with diabetes around 16 years ago. Since diabetes runs in my family, the diagnosis wasn't entirely unexpected.

My Reversal Story
When I joined FFD, my HbA1c was 7.9. With consistent guidance from the doctors and dietitians, I gradually adopted the recommended food plan and exercise routine.
The results exceeded my expectations. My HbA1c steadily dropped to 5.4, bringing my diabetes under excellent control.
Although I am still on a very small dose of diabetes medication, it has reduced significantly compared to what I was taking earlier.

Athletic Identity
Exercise has become a regular part of my routine. I practice yoga consistently and also enjoy jogging.
In fact, during the running season, I regularly participate in 10-kilometre runs, which has become my athletic identity.
Along with exercise, I continue to follow the dietary guidance given by the FFD team. Even while travelling, I make every effort to stay as close to the recommended lifestyle as possible.
Current Lifestyle & Reflection
I did not participate in the fasting program or the Inner Transformation sessions because I preferred focusing on diet and physical activity.
For me, consistency with food choices and exercise has been the biggest contributor to my progress. Looking back, I realise that diabetes management is not just about taking medicines.
It is about making sustainable lifestyle changes that you can continue every single day.
