My Diabetes Story

Fifteen years ago, a routine executive health examination revealed high sugars and diagnosed me with diabetes. This, in my opinion, was the reward of staying in a metro city.

There is also a genetic connection to it because my mother also has it. I had a CABG immediately in 2012, and I started taking cholesterol and blood pressure medications from that time.

How did FFD happen?

My friend from Pune introduced me to FFD through his wife. She was looking for diabetes treatment.

What made me choose FFD?

I did some research after learning about FFD from my friend's wife and thought it was fascinating. I came to the realization that this was not routine care, but rather a mission.

I wanted to stop taking medications, lose weight, and get close to an ideal BMI. Saw a promise in FFD.

Though it hasn't been long since I joined the program, I can already say that I am delighted. The fact that I had been taking insulin since 2021 was concerning. No matter where I went, I had to carry it with me.

My insulin stopped within a week to eight days of joining FFD, which was completely unbelievable. I'm hoping things keep going well and that I soon become medication free.

I think it's amazing that I lost 1.8 kg in just 10 days.

My medication for a fatty liver has also stopped.

I am still on medication for high cholesterol and hypertension.  I still have a long way to go.

I frequently go swimming because I enjoy it.
