My Diabetes Story

Around two years ago, I noticed unexplained weight loss.

When I checked my blood sugar, it was between 140–180, and my HbA1c was above 8.

With my father also being diabetic, I knew I had to take this seriously.

How was FFD introduced and what made me choose it?

A close friend from Hubli, Mr. Sunil Simbe, had joined FFD earlier and shared his positive experience.

My Health Journey with FFD

When I joined FFD, I was on diabetes medication.

Within 3–4 months, I tried stopping medicines, but due to frequent travel and an inconsistent schedule, I couldn’t follow the protocol 100%.

As a result, medicines had to be reintroduced in consultation with the doctor.

Despite this, my journey was far from unsuccessful. I dropped my HbA1c from 8 to 7

I lost 8 kg, my creatinine levels normalized, and my overall energy improved significantly.

My sugar readings are now mostly in the 120–140 range, and I feel much more in control of my health.

Diet, Exercise & Discipline

The diet required strong discipline, especially cutting down on crunchy and comfort foods.

I follow portion control strictly and manage about 60–80% consistency, which itself has made a big difference.

I regularly go to the gym, practice yoga, and perform 24 Surya Namaskars. These habits have kept me active and motivated.

Current Lifestyle & Reflection

FFD helped me build discipline, awareness, and clarity about my body. Even though my journey isn’t perfect, it is honest and evolving.
