Hello all,

I'm Santosh Prabhakaran Vellody a Central Government Servant. I work for the Indian Audit and Accounts Department. We can be posted anywhere in India. When I joined the FFD program, I was posted in Goa.  Now, I am posted in Rajkot, Gujarat and my profile needs me to travel a lot.

My diabetes story

There were rumors that the COVID vaccine could have a negative effect on people with particular health issues during the COVID-19 period. Therefore, I had gone for a routine blood test at Thyrocare Pathology Lab in Goa to determine whether I had any such adverse conditions.

This caused me to reveal that I primarily have high blood sugar and cholesterol (April 2021). I then went to see the endocrinologist referred at my family doctor's advice.

The issues I could identify were feeling unusually exhausted all the time and frequent urination at night also known as nocturia. My father struggled to cope with diabetes, leading to gangrene and death.

How did FFD happen?

I learned about FFD through YouTube.

What made choose FFD?

I had seen my father suffer despite taking medicines regularly.  I was on lookout for an Ayurvedic cure which as per my understanding does offer remedies that could cure certain illnesses which do not get cured via allopathy.

I followed the diet protocol and exercise guidelines recommended by Dr. Pramod Tripathi and the FFD team.  By sincerely adhering to the recommendations, I was able to stop my diabetes medicines in just 22 days.  Even today, I am free from medicines for Diabetes.

My HbA1c improved from 7.4 to 5.9. My weight loss of 7 kg also has been good. I am far better than I was before joining FFD, more than twice as healthy, more than twice as energetic as I was, and have much better stamina.

This can be understood from the fact that before FFD, I could hardly complete 7 Surya Namaskars. Now I have twice completed 108 Surya Namaskars at a stretch along with Dr. Pramod Tripathi. For the present, I have chosen YOGI as my athletic identity.
