I'm Ruksanaparveen Nabirasul Nadaf a housewife from Bijapur, Karnataka.

My diabetes story

I discovered I had diabetes during the seventh month of my second pregnancy.  I continued to manage on pills for another eight years.

During the third pregnancy, insulin was started to avoid complications due to medicines.  After the delivery depending on sugar levels shifted back to pills.

How was FFD discovered?

Upset with my condition, my husband started looking for solutions. He discovered Dr. Pramod Tripathi while doing so and thought it was impressive.

After showing me Dr. Tripathi's video, he asked me to reflect on it. I was a housewife and pursuing my bachelor's in the arts at the time. Things appeared challenging.

What made me choose FFD?

My husband was hoping I'd get better. I also desired to be healthy and free from medication.  FFD offered hope.

Reversal story

I started following the FFD protocol.  My medicines were stopped within three months.  I also recovered from my body infection and feel better and more energetic.

In FFD, I never received advice to lose weight as my BMI is less than 23.  Even though I lost about 5 kg, feeling more energetic. Now targeting to increase weight by muscle gain only.

I was started on low-dose medicine to maintain sugar levels but I hope to become medicine-free in the near future.

There has been a marginal improvement in my HbA1C level. 

On the exercise front, I practice yoga and lift weights as recommended by an FFD exercise expert.
