I'm Gerard John Gomes from Mumbai.
My diabetes story
I discovered I have diabetes thanks to a 2016 random check. Although my blood sugars weren't particularly high, my doctor still started me on medicine right away.
I was unaware at the time that diet and exercise could control such barely elevated sugars. No one in my family has ever had diabetes. Fortunately, I never experienced any diabetes-related issues.
How did FFD happen?
Youtube is where I first learned about FFD.
What made me choose FFD?
I never liked being on medicines. With FFD, I saw a hope of going free of medicines. The introductory webinar by Dr. Pramod Tripathi added to my confidence and I enrolled in Freedom from Diabetes type 2 diabetes reversal program - HTP immediately
Reversal story
My experience at FFD has been rewarding. I learned from FFD that improving one's health requires effort on all four fronts, including diet, exercise, inner transformation, and medical care.
I now know where to exert control. My daily medication dose for diabetes has been cut in half. I've reduced my HbA1c from 7.5 to 6.6.

I did not intend to lose 10 kg of weight, but thanks to the advice of the FFD team, I have happily gained back some of those pounds.
I regularly do yoga.
