My Health Story

I am a homemaker from Bangalore, and before joining Freedom From Diabetes, I was struggling with multiple lifestyle-related issues.

My weight had increased significantly, and because of that, I would feel breathless and tired very quickly. Even climbing four steps would leave me exhausted.

Along with the weight gain, my thyroid levels had also gone high. I constantly felt physically weak and mentally drained.

Earlier, I would stay awake till 1 or 2 in the night, and my sleep quality was very poor. My energy levels were low, and emotionally too, I had become sensitive and overwhelmed very easily.

The biggest reason for my weight gain was my lifestyle. Frequent outings, parties, eating outside food, and unhealthy food habits slowly started affecting my health. I never realised when those habits became a major problem.

How Was FFD Introduced and What Made Me Choose It?

One of my friends from my apartment,  Shilpa Kulambi had already joined FFD along with her husband Nagendra.

She saw very good results and strongly recommended the program to me.

Initially, I was scared after seeing so many transformation stories inside the group.

I would think, “So many people are achieving such amazing results. Will I be able to do it too?”

But slowly, after watching Dr. Pramod Tripathi’s videos, attending the Discover Reversal Session and listening to other participants, I started feeling motivated.

The positivity and energy inside the community gave me confidence that I could also transform my health.

My Reversal Story

One of the biggest transformations for me was my weight loss.

I successfully lost around 11 kg, losing weight from 71 kg to 60 kg, and along with that, my thyroid reports improved significantly.

My TSH, which was once 11.7, later came down to 3.67, which is within the normal range.

But more than the numbers, the real transformation was in how I started feeling.

Athletic Identity & Active Lifestyle

Today, exercise has become an important part of my life.

I regularly go for walking, jogging, badminton, and swimming whenever time permits.

I currently follow a routine where I alternate between running and walking daily. I also practice the Nitric Oxide Dump exercises regularly.

Earlier, even climbing one floor used to feel difficult. Today, climbing 16 floors feels achievable and empowering.

The FFD community also inspired me deeply.

Watching people in their 60s and beyond actively exercising, going to the gym, and staying fit completely changed my mindset about ageing and health.

Current Lifestyle & Reflection

Today, I feel mentally calmer, emotionally stronger, and physically healthier.

One major shift I noticed is in my emotional control. Earlier, I would become emotionally overwhelmed very quickly.

Now I feel more stable and stronger mentally.

I have also become more mindful about food. During family functions, I even carry my own salad box to maintain consistency.

Though cravings still come sometimes, I now know how to handle them better.

Most importantly, I feel confident again. When people around me notice my transformation, it motivates me even more to continue this healthy lifestyle journey.
