Venkat Krishnaswamy: 28 years of diabetes...gone in 12 days

I wish I had met FFD earlier...

I am, Mr. Venkat Krishnaswamy, a business owner from New Jersey, U.S.  My company name is Kubhera which provides Financial Planning and Investment Management to Professionals ( Mostly Physicians in the US)
 
Family history-wise, my mother has diabetes. I came to know about mine in 1995 when I was trying to get a Life Insurance Policy in the US. One good thing about me is that I am a strict vegetarian and prefer no sugar in my diet.  So diabetes was never in my mind actually.

I was started on oral anti-diabetic medications.  I suffered from diabetes for a long span of 28 years, but thankfully never really needed to take insulin.  Was taking Metformin 500 mg X2 before I joined FFD.  I am a part of Chinmaya Mission and it is through them only I came to know about FFD.

The online session of Dr. Pramod Tripathi gave an overview of diabetes reversal which was great to attend first.  I soon enrolled in the Holistic Transformation Program batch 74.

The 4 protocols - diet, exercise, inner transformation, and medical are beautifully designed and blended.  I strictly followed the regimen outlined by the FFD team and was cognizant of it even on travel visiting friends/families/business trips. Within 12 days of joining, I got the good news.  I was free from diabetes medicines.

My weight also saw good progress.  I was a BMI 26 when I started the program.  Now it's hovering at 23 - in the normal range.

I am currently in Mumbai caring for my Parents ( 93/ 86 years old ) but have followed the regimen in the best possible ways with the heat of Mumbai and with get-togethers of family & friends. I still follow my exercise routine and diet plan and have managed to surf through 2 months in India!  
 
I like the new diet/exercise plan. Now, I run about 5 Km and explore the streets of Mumbai for my morning workouts.  On days when I don't run, I do suryanamaskar ( 25) and situps (150).

Being a part of Chinmaya Mission and a moderator of the Adult Study Group for Bhagavad Gita / Upanishads, I participate in Meditation and spiritual activities on a weekly basis. This is an anchor for my mind management and commitment to a purpose.
